CANDLE CARE
Why the First Burn Matters
Wax memory means the candle will continue to burn in the pattern established during its first use. If the wax doesn't melt all the way to the edges, it can cause tunneling, where only the center melts and the rest of the wax is wasted.
Candle Care and Burn Tips
- Avoid excessive burn time.
- No more than 4 hours is recommended.
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Trim the wick to 1/4 " tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and burning nicely.
- Allow candle to melt to the edge of the vessel. This prevents future tunneling.
- Keep out of reach of pets and children.
